Film in Aylesbury - Exhibition & Screening of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang

Aylesbury Town Council working in partnership with Buckinghamshire Film Office and Marlow Film Studios. 

Join us for an exhibition on a history of film in Aylesbury and Buckinghamshire, with some more recent history since the Film Office was set up. Hear from Marlow Film Studios and their £1bn investment in the area, including career pathways and a callout for local trades/businesses.

Following that, settle in for a screening of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (1968) startting Dick Van Dyke, Sally Ann Howes and Lionel Jeffries: A down-on-his-luck inventor turns a broken-down Grand Prix car into a fancy vehicle for his children, and then they go off on a magical fantasy adventure to save their grandfather. A much-loved classic featuring songs from the Sherman Brothers. The film is rated U by the British Board of Film Classification, indicating that it is suitable for all ages.
