Charity Preview Performance of Dad's Army

KINDLY NOTE: Seats in rows E and G are reserved for guests of the Friends of Nevers

Join us for a charity preview performance of this production of the well-loved and hugely entertaining 'Dad's Army'.

Step into wartime Britain and meet the most unlikely heroes ever to defend the realm.
In this riotously funny stage adaptation of the classic comedy, Captain Mainwaring and his
Home Guard platoon are ready for action… in theory. In practice, everything is just a little off.
Orders are misunderstood, plans fall apart and confidence rarely matches ability.
All the great characters are included: “Stupid Boy” Pike, “Don’t panic, don’t panic” Jonesey,
“Doomed, we’re all doomed!” Fraser, “May I be excused, sir?” Godfrey, and all under the
command of the redoubtable Mainwaring and his deputy Sergeant Wilson.
Whether you know the series or are discovering it for the first time, the hilarious characters in this
brilliant comedy will leave you smiling long after the final curtain
