The Big Room Comedy Club is back after a jam packed Good Friday show! This event promises to be another hilarious night - especially as we have an amazing guest MC stepping in for our regular host Sam Harland for this month.

Big Lou: 
Manchester based Big Lou, is a well known face on the comedy scene who has a commanding stage presence matched by his punchlines and timing of their delivery.

Big Lou has played most of the premier comedy venues in the North West and beyond.

Dom Woodward: 
An in demand comedian on the professional stand-up circuit all over the UK. Dominic's acting background shines through as he tells hilarious stories about his everyday life and brings to life the quirky people he meets. Always in demand as headliner, support and compare he performs regularly in many large UK clubs.

TV work includes, It's Adam and Shelly (BBC3), Stakeout (Hatrick), Comedy Shuffle (BBC 3).

Live performances include BBC2s Running Late and ITV's Made up North.

Nominated for Best Breakthrough Act at the Northwest Comedy Awards. Dominic is a writer and performer on “Bastard Funny” a live sketch show produced by BBC Manchester.

Ben Lawes: 
Based in the North West of England, you can see Ben performing at comedy clubs & venues across the UK. Ben has had the pleasure of performing at The Edinburgh Fringe Festival, taking his own show in 2010 with Ecuador's finest Chorley comedian; El Purnell.

You can hear Ben regularly on The Steve Royle Show on BBC Radio Lancashire and guested on BBC GMR and Manchester's FAB Radio.

Gerry Kyei:

Anecdotal, observational and refreshingly honest in style, Gerry's comedy is enriched by a somewhat unique perspective: Real name Gerry Kyei (pronounced “Chay”), Gerry was born in the East End, but grew up in rural Essex, as a rare black face in an almost totally white ­and very parochial area.

Now a regular and in-demand headline act both in the UK and overseas, Gerry has played all of the nation's leading comedy clubs. He is also a firm favourite on the corporate circuit and for after-dinner speaking engagements.

As an actor he has appeared on The Bill and Angelo’s and recently enjoyed a cameo role on Jimmy Carr's Xmas DVD.

As a presenter, he's hosted the football forum with former England international and I’m A Celebrity bad boy Rodney Marsh and legendary Sky host Jeff Stelling for Zoo Magazine and has also guested on BBC Nottingham's 'The Breakfast Show'.

Numerous drinks including 2-4-1 cocktails (7pm-8pm) will be available from our Blind Pig bar until 11:30pm 🍸🍹

Cabaret Style Seating

The Big Room Comedy Club takes place with a cabaret style layout with a close interaction to the show.

Bar

The Blind Pig operated bar opens at 7pm - one hour before the show begins, and will remain open until 11:30pm. A special offer of 2-4-1 cocktails are available between 7pm-8pm. Table service is available and drinks can be purchased during the show using the QR code on your table.
