For Alastair - HGO's fabulous 2025 opera concert at St. Michael's Highgate

HGO's Summer Concert this year at St. Michaels is a tribute to the legacy of our Chairman Emeritus, Alastair Macgeorge, who inspired and drove the development of HGO from a local opera club to a leading launchpad for opera talent in the UK. Our singers at the concert are HGO alumni who have since forged careers in the opera world - helping us in our mission to continue to enable the opera stars of the future.....

The concert is to support the HGO Singer's Fund - now renamed 'The Alastair Macgeorge Singers' Fund' - which has a key role in providing our singers with allowances during the rehearsal and production period.

We are thrilled and delighted to present four of the UK's leading opera stars whose early careers featured their work with HGO:

Eleanor Pennell-Briggs (soprano) (HGO's 'La Traviata' 2018)

Stephanie Wake-Edwards (mezzo-soprano) (HGO's 'Magic Flute' 2016 - 'The Enchanted Pig' and 'Poppea' 2017)

Matthew Curtis (tenor) (HGO's 'Eugene Onegin' 2024)

Tickets at £29 (including booking fee) include a glass of wine or juice at the interval. 

Children's (under-18) tickets £12 including booking fee, includes glass of fruit juice at interval.
