Our second film that was Inspired by Hitchcock is Night Train to Munich (1940) directed by Carol Reed. It is a witty, fast-paced wartime thriller starring Margaret Lockwood, Rex Harrison and Paul Henreid. When a Czech scientist and his daughter become targets of the Nazis after the occupation of Prague, a resourceful British secret agent goes undercover inside Germany and embarks on a daring rescue mission that leads to a suspense-filled journey aboard the night train to Munich.
For licensing reasons, only members of HGS u3a may attend the film. You can buy up to 2 tickets. You'll need to give the membership number of each person you book for.

Please arrive by 10:05 am so that we can all take our seats for a prompt start at 10.15 with an introduction by Searle Kochberg. The film will automatically begin at 10.35. After the film, at about 12:10, Searle will lead a discussion in the cinema for up to 20 minutes, after which we'll adjourn to the café, where those who wish may continue the discussion.
