HGS u3a are pleased to offer a guided tour of Legacy - The Jewish Family who founded J. Lyons and fed Britain. This exhibition at JW3 on the Finchley Road, tells the story of the Salmon and Gluckstein dynasty, two families that became one, who fled violent persecution in Europe, and who became the architects of the largest catering company in the world. Theirs is a story of survival, ingenuity and reinvention across two world wars and a century of social and political change.
