Paul Rosevear with Jeiris Cook
Join us in our intimate space on Wednesday October 2nd for two incredible artists taking the Hidden Tracks stage. This will be a night filled with amazing music and great vibes set in the perfect atmosphere for an unforgettable musical experience.
Jeiris Cook, a former warehouse manager hailing from Atlanta Georgia, dove with both feet into full-time musicianship at the age of 37 with a young family in tow. After many late nights after work honing his guitar playing skills, a 2017 camping trip with his son proved to be a prime opportunity to test his newly developed skill. How does one go from mattress sales to troubadour you might ask? In Cook's words “I'd always sing in situations when it wasn't deemed appropriate. I'd sing at work, during meetings or conference calls and I realized my calling. Like the universe kept knocking me in the head to drive the message home". Fast forward 7 years later and he's played in several venues, restaurants, private events and showcases in and around the New York Metro area. On September 29th, 2023, Cook released his long-awaited full-length debut album entitled “Patchwork” to critical acclaim. The ten song LP showcases Cook’s lyrical depth and feel-good arrangements, centered around a velvety liquid voice. Cook explores a variety of topics ranging from perseverance to self-care. “Patchwork” was produced by Kevin Soffera of Hybrid Studios in Nazareth, PA.
Paul Rosevear, a NJ-based singer-songwriter who blends folk, country, and rock 'n' roll to create a sound all his own. Whether strumming at a coffee house or plugging in for a full-blown rock set, Paul's goal has always been the same: to connect with others through a great song, well sung. The simple philosophy has carried him through a non-stop two-decade plus journey of writing, recording, and performing music, both solo and with his bands. Along the way, he's supported groundbreaking artists ranging from Joan Baez to Stone Temple Pilots, licensed his original songs to major networks like MTV and the CW Network, studied recording at the historic Magic Chop studio in New York City, and written and sang many songs in service of the world's biggest brands, including Coca-Cola, Tiffany & Co., and Macy's. Though much has happened over the last two decades, a whole lot has stayed the same. You can still find Paul in the coffee shop strumming or up on the stage rocking. And above all, connecting with overs through music.
