HFS 10th ANNIVERSARY PARTY w/ DJ Yala + Dual Role Rueda WEEKEND [12-13 Sep 2026 ¦ Redhill]

The first ever High Five Salsa class was held on a 13 September in 2016 in Dorking.
We didn't know where we wanted to go but definitely didn't expect that 10 years later we'd still be growing our local community, collaborating with amazing local schools, organising monthly parties and organising our own weekenders in the area! And this is all thanks to YOU! So we want to THANK YOU and celebrate with an amazing evening of fun, friendship and good vibes!

As part of our journey, we've discovered a huge passion in Cuban music, so we wanted to bring one of the top  international DJs to share some fresh tunes with all of us: 🌍🙌 DJ YALA for the first time in the UK! 

• If you don't know her yet, September 13th is the night that changes. Yala's based in Cologne, where she built her own party, Azuca, just to have a home for the music she loves. Later she helped bring Cuba Alaaf Festival to life, an amazing weekend of Cuban vibes and an incredible line-up. cubaalaaf.de/en/en-festival2026/ 🎧
• She's been living and breathing Cuban music for 13 years now. Somewhere along the way she noticed not many women were behind the decks in this scene, so she simply became one, and in fact, one of the best Cuban DJs in the scene!
• She's taken her sound to dancefloors in Belgium, Luxembourg, France, Greece, Portugal, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and twice all the way to Tunisia. Wherever she goes, people remember her sets.
• Mark the 13th in your calendar, clear your legs of all excuses, and get ready! Once Yala gets going, the dancefloor doesn't empty until the lights come on. 🇩🇪🇨🇺

Casino and Rueda de Casino Dancers from all over the UK and abroad will gather in Redhill for an amazing time dancing and celebrating together! If you are advanced rueda dancer in BOTH roles, contact us for more info, we're preparing a special weekend for you on top of the party!
