GLOBAL HIGHLANDS: A consultation discussion event on the National Good Food Nation Plan

Join us for the last of our consultation events as we explore and discuss the National GFN Plan through the lens of the Highland's global reciprocities.

At this event the discussion focuses on Outcome 6 of the draft plan:

Scotland has a global reputation for high-quality food that we want to continue to grow. Decisions we make in Scotland contribute positively to local and global food systems transformation. We share and learn from best practice internationally.

Is our international food influence a positive one? Should we be keeping more of our produce for a local market?

With thought-provoking speakers to spark our conversation, we look forward to exploring the context and opportunities this moment in our nation presents.

The aim of this event is to provide a forum to discuss the draft plan in order to provoke a strong Highland consultation response from individuals, organisations and networks. The National Good Food Nation Plan will directly inform the Food Plans our local authority and health board have to write next year, so it's vital that the Highland voice is heard in this public consultation.
