Cannich Good Food Gathering

Come join us for one of our annual Good Food Gatherings at the Cannich Village Hall.
Connect with the local community, enjoy a shared lunch and join in with Highland Good Food Partnership's interactive AGM.

From 9am til 10.15  - Strathglass residents are invited to come together for a conversation about what we want to see happening around food in our area: More local producers? Community shared meals? Local venison in our school? A community orchard? A food hub? This discussion will feed into the Community Action Plan which in turn feeds into the decisions Highland Council makes. If food is important to you and you live in Strathglass - come and have coffee/pastries and join the discussion 9 til 10.15!

From 10.30 all are welcome to come and join the fun! Info stalls on seed saving, composting, organic growing and more. Kids activities for all ages.

12 noon will see a very brief online presentation on the work Highland Good Food Partnership has done this year to work towards a more sustainable, fair and resilient food system in the Highlands. This is our (super short) AGM, after which there's room for a bit of discussion before tucking into a shared feast.

If you're able to bring along a dish to contribute into the potluck, that would be very welcome. Even better if you can showcase a local ingredient :)

This event is a wonderful chance to connect with others, feel part of a wider movement and enjoy some lovely local food.
