HIDDEN HISTORY

HIDDEN HISTORY OF ST. AUGUSTINE
The stories they left out.

St. Augustine is famous for its fort, cobblestone streets, and Spanish history—but there’s another story hiding in plain sight.

Join High Road Tours for a lively walking experience beyond the usual landmarks, where we uncover the people, communities, struggles, achievements, and unexpected stories that helped shape America’s oldest city.

Discover the history you may not hear on the typical tour—including Black history, women’s stories, Indigenous connections, immigrant communities, local legends, and the real people behind the city’s past.

You’ll leave with more than facts—you’ll see St. Augustine differently.
