Artist-in-residence: Bryony Hill

24th June - 21st July, viewing event Friday 27th June 6-8pm

Bryony Hill was born and educated in Sussex and after a year's Foundation Course at Brighton College of Art went to France in 1970 where she lived for over 4years. She has painted all her life but it is only in recent years that she has been confident enough to experiment with different media and techniques ranging from watercolour, oils, pastels, ink, drypoint etching and mono printing.

Last year, a first attempt at a mono print of her great nephew Indi, was accepted in the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition and sold at the first private view. Ranging from children to much-loved pets, Bryony is happy to consider commissions. She and her late husband Jimmy moved to Hurstpierpoint in 1985 where she enjoys gardening and writing, and is currently in the process of producing her 13th book, My Dia-beat-es Weight Loss Diet Diary.

Bryony's viewing event is free of charge, please register for numbers! A paid bar service will be open on the evening, cash or contactless payments accepted.
