About the gig… 

We are beyond excited to have Dara Dubh kick off our first “High Tide Music Club” at Killyleagh Yacht Club.

Dara Dubh’s (pronounced da-ra doo) is an Edinburgh based rising star and indie–folk–rock artist who hails from Ballycastle. Her songs sit somewhere between heartfelt confession and a good kick up the road… and her storytelling is spellbinding!

A singer-songwriter and harpist with a habit of blending the delicate with the downright fierce, she brings a sharp emotional edge to a sound shaped by folk roots, alternative influences, and whatever else has been rattling around her head that week.

A SAMA Best Newcomer nominee and one of The List’s Hot 100, Dara has taken her live show across the UK and Italy, collecting a run of sold-out nights in Scotland, Ireland, and Italy along the way.

Dara is currently touring her new album, featuring “Belfast Mona Lisa” which was released during Belfast Fleadh… and we just can’t get it out of our head since hearing it there! 🥰

Basically we’re in for a treat and are so fortunate to have Dara in town! 🤩

We are delighted to showcase young local musicians in a pre-concert session in the bar. 🎻
