Spend a relaxing few hours with us discovering local seaweed and the marine environment, as well as learning the art of seaweed pressing.

We'll meet at Langland Bay (in front of Surfside cafe on the beach) for a guided seaweed walk. We'll explain how to identify various different seaweed species, how to sustainably collect your own seaweed and incorporate it into your diet to support health and wellbeing, and discuss how seaweeds play an integral role in our marine ecosystems.

You'll then get chance to channel your inner artist and creativity as we use different seaweed varieties to create stunning ocean-inspired seaweed artwork, learning the art of seaweed pressing. This part of the workshop will take place at Langland Bay Lifeguard Club. Delicious homemade seaweed tea and seaweed snacks will be provided during the seaweed pressing session.

As for all our workshops, 10% of tickets will go to charity - with funds from this workshop going towards Langland Bay Lifeguard Club.

*Please wear sturdy non-slip footwear e.g. walking boots, wellies or trail shoes. 

*Workshop is suitable for adults and over 12s (accompanied by a parent or guardian)
