Calling Garden Volunteers,

Exciting news! We’re partnering with Garden Organic to offer a free Master Composter training workshop. This is a fantastic opportunity to deepen your understanding of composting and share your newfound passion with our local community!

What You'll Learn:- The environmental and social benefits of composting- Key components for successful composting and which ingredients to use- An overview of different types of compost bins- The vital role of biological life in composting- Solutions for common composting issues- How to effectively use compost in your garden, including potting mixes and mulches- Focus on residential composting to reduce household waste- Demonstration bins and an informal Q&A session.

We’re looking for up to 14 garden volunteers to participate in this hands-on workshop. After completing the training, you’ll have the chance to share your knowledge during a community workshop in spring 2025 (date TBD).
