Hill Close Gardens - Manager Role Applicants - Informal Meeting

We’re hiring at Hill Close Gardens Trust and looking for dedicated and enthusiastic Manager to oversee the operations of our Visitor Centre and contribute to the overall visitor experience. This role is ideal for someone who has excellent customer service, is passionate about heritage gardens, community engagement, and volunteer management – ideally with experience in working for a Non-Profit organisation.

The Manager will be responsible for day-to-day operations and sales, ensuring a welcoming and high-quality experience for visitors and hirers, managing volunteers, and supporting the financial and administrative functions of the organisation. The role requires flexibility, which will include some evening and weekend work to accommodate operational demands. You will work closely with the Deputy Manager, Head Gardener, Caretakers, Volunteers and Trustees to ensure smooth and effective operations.
