Garden Experience Day - Tuesday
Join us for a day gardening in our incredible heritage gardens! This is a fantastic way to support a small independent local charity, and enjoy a day outside in a beautiful setting with likeminded people.
This is open to all existing Hill Close Gardens volunteers, but also to anyone who is not able to commit to a regular volunteering slot, or just wants to try it for the first time. Whether you’re an experienced gardener or just a keen beginner, we’d love to have you join us for the day.
The session will run from 10.00 to 3.00 with a tea/coffee break in the morning and a lunch break (bring your own). If you would like to attend please book a place.
We’ll provide all tools and tea, coffee and biscuits! It’s a wonderful opportunity to meet people and make a difference. The tasks are likely to include normal gardening activities such as weeding, pruning, use of forks, spades and wheelbarrows etc. Please wear appropriate clothing that you don't mind getting dirty and closed-toe footwear.
We are next to a public car park, details of how to find us and more info on parking can be found here. If you have any questions about the day then please contact volunteer@hcgt.org.uk.
