Apple Original Film TENZING

Himalayan Trust UK, in collaboration with Apple TV, invites you to a special screening of TENZING, an Apple Original Film.

Based on true events and directed by Jennifer Peedom, Tenzing chronicles the life of Tenzing Norgay - the story before the summit photograph, which few people know. The cast includes Genden Phuntsok as Tenzing, Tom Hiddleston as Edmund Hillary, Willem Dafoe as Col John Hunt, Caitríona Balfe as Jill Henderson and Thinley Lhamo as Dawa.

Join us for the evening to watch the film together and to hear:

• Norbu Tenzing - eldest son of Tenzing Norgay
• Rebecca Stephens - Trustee of Himalayan Trust UK and the first British woman to climb Everest
• Contributions from the film's cast or crew

We will also show a short film about the Trust's work in Nepal today - the schools, teachers and health services that grew out of the 1953 expedition.

TENZING is available to stream, but the guests, the setting and the room itself make this evening something else entirely. Don't miss it!

Tickets are free, but a seat booked is a seat no one else can take, so please only book if you intend to come, and update your booking if your plans change, so we can make it available to someone else.
