Join us for one of the most nostalgic and inspiring lunches of the season as Hinckley RFC hosts the annual JCC Pre-Match Lunch before our National League clash with Devonport Services RFC.

For decades, John Cleveland College—now Hinckley School— has played a vital role in the story of Hinckley RFC. The close relationship between the school and the club has produced generations of talented players who have gone on to represent Hinckley with distinction, while many have progressed to the highest levels of the game.

Much of that success is thanks to the dedication and vision of Paul Walsh, whose commitment to developing young players has left an incredible legacy. Under his guidance, countless students discovered a love for rugby, developed their skills and values, and made the journey from school rugby to senior rugby at Hinckley RFC and beyond.

The JCC Lunch is a chance to celebrate that legacy, reconnect with former classmates, teachers, coaches and teammates, and recognise the contribution that school rugby has made to the success of our club.

As for the rugby, Devonport Services are renowned for their physical, disciplined style, making this a crucial National League fixture as the season enters its second half. Every point becomes more valuable in January, and the support from a packed Leicester Road could prove decisive.

⚠️ The JCC Lunch attracts former pupils and players from across the country and is always one of our most popular reunion events. Tables are limited, so early booking is strongly recommended.
