Hindus for Human Rights UK (HfHR UK) and Indian Dancers for Gaza's Children (IDGC) invite you to join us from 14:30 to socialise and enjoy soft and alcoholic drinks of your choice at the onsite café.
The event will begin promptly at 14:45. Our Director Rajiv Sinha will greet everyone with some introductory words.
Then the incredible Aranyani Bhargav, over from India for a short visit, will perform her creation, Lori, a dance conceptualised as part of the campaign of IDGC, launched in May 2024 by Aranyani and South African scholar of Indian dance Donovan Roebert.
This will be followed by an opportunity for the audience to speak directly with Aranyani, and then by a panel that will criticall discuss the Palestine movement and what more we can do.
Panela: Ahmed Najar (Dramatist/Writer from Gaza), Karishma Patel (Journalist/media critic, formerly BBC), Miriam Suleiman (PhD Researcher), Aranyani Bhargav (Indian Dancers for Gaza's Children).
