Our mission at the Historical Society is to celebrate and preserve the history of Kent County, from the early colonial days to the growth and evolution of the 21st century and beyond— because of course each day, we make and live a chapter in that history. We collect, conserve, and share the documents, artifacts, and stories of the county to ensure they are available for current and future generations of locals, visitors, students, and historians.
