Our tour of Johnby Hall, a unique Tudor manor house with a 14th-century fortified tower, and Greystoke Church, refounded as a collegiate church in the 14th century, offers a day steeped in history and interest.

Enjoy coffee and an owner-led tour with Henry and Anna Howard as we explore this unique Tudor manor house with its 14th-century pele tower. Bought by the Howards of Greystoke Castle in 1783, the house remains in many respects unchanged, though lovingly restored with some Arts & Crafts features by Great-Aunt Maud around 1900. The informal gardens include a 17th-century walled orchard and the interesting remains of an 18th-century water garden.
