It’s a lovely way to discover London and learn how tea became the national drink and how it’s linked to the city’s history. The walk is about 2.15 hours and starts from Hay's Gallery and ends at Tower Hill.
During this scenic walk you will learn the difference between Chinese and Indian tea, hear about how tea was stolen from China, learn who the Nippies were and find out about the famous writer who said, “My dear if you could give me a cup of tea to clear my muddle of a head I should better understand your affairs.”
The walk ends with a cream tea at the Rotunda Bar of Four Season Hotel by Tower Hill .
What is included ? A guided walk lead by a London Blue Badge Tourist Guide, cream tea at the Four Season Hotel and you will be also rewarded with a pack of sample tea provided by a family owned business Teasup.
