We are delighted to welcome back former History UK Convenor, Dr Jamie Wood. Jamie has presented and published widely on various topics related to digital pedagogies for teaching history. This includes his website Making Digital History, which hosts a large number of resources for using technology to teach history in higher education, especially in developing student-centred approaches to learning.

Jamie’s website focuses on three areas:
1) Active and student-centred pedagogies, especially those in which students engage in creative work and/or knowledge production (Making);
2) Digital tools and approaches to support academic and student engagement in such pedagogies (Digital);
3) History teaching and learning in higher education (History).

Jamie will be reflecting on his work and experiences with digital pedagogies in HE history teaching, which includes the impact of the Covid pandemic as well as the current ‘Age of AI’. There will be plenty of opportunity for discussion and to ask questions.
