The Arukah Project CIC (www.arukah.co.uk) is a not-for-profit community interest company that aims to raise awareness of adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) and trauma and how it impacts the lives of those who are in contact with the criminal justice system.

The project has developed an emotional health and safety framework that includes education, sharing experience and practical learning of emotional freedom techniques (EFT). These highly effective self-help evidence-based tools act rapidly on the nervous system to support emotional regulation and we combine this the integration of trauma-informed practice. We work collaboratively with organisations supporting their service users and staff offering a range of workshops, interventions and support including The Arukah Community - online community.

Join this insightful event for an overview of the work we do and share practical experiences of the techniques to show the effectiveness and ease with which they can be learnt and deployed.

This event is open to staff who work in HMPPS only.  Please register with your work email address.  You will be asked to confirm your role and organisation at checkout.  We may need to ask you to provide additional verification.
