It's just $5 to reserve a limited spot. Our grant ensures the business gets paid the full price for your meal and your $5 ticket gets donated to support Water Warriors YEG, a volunteer group who brings water, food, clothing, hygiene items and harm reduction to our unhoused neighbours in Edmonton.
ONLY 20 SPOTS AVAILABLE. Only 2 tickets are allowed per order to ensure as many people can enjoy the lunch as possible.
PLEASE DO NOT GET TICKETS TO THIS EVENT IF YOU ATTENDED DECEMBER OR JANUARY'S EVENTS.
WE WANT TO SPREAD THE CHINATOWN LOVE!
Your lunch is hosted by local community builder and Chinatown Chow Down project organizer Linda Hoang (@lindork).
Your lunch will include a selection of Gui Lin Noodle House's most popular dishes including:
- Beef Brisket Vermicelli Soup (Gui Lin Style)
- Pork Belly Vermicelli
- Fried Rice
- Fried Macaroni (Gui Lin Stlye)
- Fried Instant Noodles with Pork
These items will be served in tables of 4 so we will seat you with other ticket holders. If you are coordinating a group to attend (and get separate tickets) please let us know who you would like to be seated with.
Unfortunately this restaurant cannot accommodate for dietary needs. We apologize for the inconvenience and invite you to book for our other events / restaurants. If you don't think you can eat the menu that is outlined, please do not purchase tickets to this event.
REMINDER TO SPREAD THE LOVE! ❤️
We’re hoping to dine with as many different people as we can at these Chinatown Chow Down events over the next few months. If you’re planning to grab a spot at these low-cost events, please consider leaving tickets open for someone else to attend another event. We want to celebrate the neighbourhood with folks who already love and support Chinatown but we also really want to reach Edmontonians who have never been or rarely come to Chinatown. 🫶🏻 You could also consider bringing a friend who is new to the restaurant, cuisine or Chinatown! If you miss tickets for this month's events, stay tuned for tickets for upcoming monthly events through March. You can also participate in the Chow Down Challenge culinary passport at anytime until March for a chance to experience new-to-you restaurants and enter to win prizes! If you have been to event already and want to come to another, please consider waiting to see if any tickets are available a few days before the event to ensure people who have not had a chance to attend can snag tickets.

Everyone will be seated at same / nearby tables so do expect to interact with others to some extent.
- I've never been to Chinatown before. Is it safe? Yes! And if one of the reasons you haven't been to Chinatown before is due to perceived safety, attending a group meal like this is a great, accessible way to experience the neighbourhood—with a welcoming group and host! Just show up and enjoy. We hope you'll love your experience so much you keep coming back!
