E-BIKES MAKE BIKING ACCESSIBLE!
Please note: no athleticism is required to participate and this is NOT an intense biking tour.
Pedego E-bikes have something called a Throttle handle, where you lightly hold down on the handle while on the bike and it will propel you forward. If you are worried about whether you can handle biking for hours—you CAN on this e-bike! With e-bike throttle you don't even have to pedal if you don't want to (I rarely pedal on an e-bike, I just hold down the throttle and GO!) That being said, while the biking itself will be EASY (a literal breeze), this is NOT a super leisurely tour because I want to take you to so many places in a short amount of time lol so we will be pretty go-go-go—but it is NOT a difficult tour because the e-bikes do nearly all the work!
Tickets are: $75 per person and includes:
Participants of my tours will get a discount code for 20% off their next Pedego rental!
If you want to get 10% off e-bike rentals for your own adventure with Pedego (without going on my tour), use my code: 10Lindork
Donation to Bent Arrow Traditional Healing Society
As June is National Indigenous History Month, and the tours take place in Treaty 6 Territory, a traditional meeting ground, gathering place and traveling route for the Cree, Saulteaux, Blackfoot, Métis, Dene Nakota Sioux and Métis, and as part of my own ongoing acts of reconciliation, I'll be donating 20% of proceeds from ticket sales to a wonderful organization called Bent Arrow Traditional Healing Society which has been providing a range of services to support Indigenous children, youth and families since 1994.
Refund/Reschedule/Cancellation Policy
We want to do these tours rain or shine—especially given that Edmonton's summer rains are pretty short lived, so come in weather-appropriate attire and footwear, however we will be watching the weather and MAY cancel a tour if it's going to be too rainy that day (that's just not a fun tour for anyone). If WE cancel the tour, you will get the option of a refund OR to reschedule to a later date. YOU are welcome to cancel up to 2 days before the tour with a full refund. If you cancel the tour on the day of, you can receive a partial refund but not a full refund (we pre-order food).

Electric bikes help you bike farther and faster than cycling on a regular bike. As such, e-bikes really open up the door to cycling accessibility! I love renting e-bikes to explore cities I visit and I can do this exploration where I don't even break a sweat. I absolutely love e-biking recreationally, and many are choosing e-bikes as their main mode of transportation as well! There are many benefits to electric biking.
Pedego is one of the most well-known and respected brands in the e-bike world, in fact they're industry-leading! Operating sine 2008, when you buy a Pedego, you get a 5 year warranty, a choice of over 20 different styles of bikes to fit all types of riders and riding styles (the COLOURS I cannot get over the colours!), over 200 independent and locally-owned Pedego Stores across North America that are able to service your bike whenever you need it, exceptional service and quality!
In Edmonton, Pedego is operated by a local family that is also in the process of building a bike mechanic school that will offer courses to individuals wanting to become professional bike mechanics (watch for that this winter!) Pedego Edmonton is community minded and supports local charities. They work closely with Bike Edmonton, a non-profit society that hosts bike workshops and offers cycling education for all ages. Most of all, they LOVE bikes and bike riding! And absolutely love seeing customers smile when they first ride their bike, or when they come into the store and tell us of their adventures on their bikes!!
Thank you to Pedego Edmonton for sponsoring these e-bike tours!
