People Emergency Briefing - Latest on the climate and nature crisis

Join your local screening of the People’s Emergency Briefing, which sets out the implications of climate and nature breakdown for health, food systems, national security and the economy.

The film features leading UK experts and presents a clear and measured overview of how the climate and nature crisis is affecting everyday life in Britain, the risks we face and the possible responses.

This will be followed by a 45-minute structured discussion on what these issues mean for our local community and what we can do locally in response.

The event is being organised by Hook Odiham & Hartley Wintney Lions Club, in partnership with the Rotary Club of Odiham & Hook. The discussion will be facilitated by a representative from the Odiham u3a Environment Group.

If you care about local flooding, air pollution, the cost of living and food prices, this event is for you!  

Seats are free but limited so please book in advance.
