Welcome to Holmfirth Children's Book Festival 2026

We are excited to be launching our second Holmfirth Children's Book Festival on the weekend of 26/27th September 2026! We have some incredible authors lined up in venues all over Holmfirth. Come along and get inspired!

The Holmfirth Book Festival CIC is made up of five volunteer directors; we all live in Holmfirth and are passionate about bringing authors to the town. We have received grant support from One Community, Thornton Family Fund, Our Cultural Heart, Longley Farm and Holme Valley Parish Council. Our main event sponsor is Kip McGrath Tutoring in Holmfirth.
