Artistry Alive: Songwriting Edition is a 10-week creative journey designed to help teens and adults explore their authentic voice through songwriting, vocal performance, and embodied self-expression — all from the comfort of home. Suitable for songwriters of all levels and tailored to give structure, inspire focused song work and give you the confidence to pursue your craft.

Each week, participants will engage in:

• Songwriting – Learn to write original lyrics, melodies and chord structures rooted in personal truth and storytelling (tracks and assistance will be provided for non-instrumentalists)
• Vocal Coaching – Build vocal technique, range, and emotional connection in performance
• Movement & Presence – Use gentle movement, breathwork, and mindfulness to enhance connection to self and vocal confidence
• Creative Rituals – Reflect, draw, collage, free write, and create artwork that supports your musical identity
• Supportive Community – Connect with like-minded creatives in a warm, encouraging space for growth and expression

Teaching Artist Bios:

Savannah Wilder Laudicina - Vocally trained since age 4, graduate of Grammy Camp (2010) and UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music (2016), and mentee of celebrity vocal coach Roger Love, Savannah is a lifelong lover of all things voice! After honing her songwriting craft working under her mentor, Songwriters Hall of Fame inductee Jeff Barry (“Be My Baby” “Going to the Chapel”), from 2011-2015, she now brings the skills she learned to help her own students develop their music-making craft. Savannah has been vocal coaching and building her studio for the past ten years in Los Angeles and is passionate about helping her students of all ages and levels excel. She helps students build a solid foundation for a lifetime of singing based on safe vocal technique, musicianship, stage presence and self-expression.

Catriona Fray - Catriona has been privately coaching, directing, and music directing after graduating from UCLA’s School of Theater, Film, and Television in the Musical Theater Department. As an artist and performer herself, she has toured around the country, opening for Pentatonix, Imagine Dragons, and Walk the Moon, and has performed at venues like the Hollywood Bowl. She founded Catriona Fray Studios for the Performing Artist where she teaches piano, guitar, voice, acting, dance, musical theater script writing/songwriting, and yoga to students of all ages! The goal of Artistry Alive is to foster a supportive atmosphere where students can unleash their creativity and empower themselves and each other through music. @catrionafraystudios
