Cheese & Wine Pairing Evening – Saturday, 16th November, 7 pm (for a 7:30 pm start) at Meldreth Village Hall

Indulge your senses at our exclusive Cheese & Wine Pairing Evening, a night dedicated to enjoying fine food and drink in the heart of Meldreth. Hosted by Linda O’Sullivan from The Honest Fig and Kirby Morrow from Cambridge Wine Royston, this event offers a unique opportunity to taste some of the finest local products while supporting a great cause.

During the evening, you’ll experience a carefully curated selection of five artisan cheeses paired with exquisite wines. Linda and Kirby, both experts in their fields, will guide you through each pairing, sharing the stories behind the wines and cheeses, and explaining how the flavors complement one another. Whether you’re a cheese lover, a wine enthusiast, or just looking for a fun night out, this event promises to be both informative and enjoyable.

Honest Fig, based in Royston, is known for its commitment to fresh, seasonal, and artisanal produce. Their focus on quality and sustainability ensures every bite is a celebration of local flavours. Meanwhile, Cambridge Wine Royston brings years of expertise in selecting wines that perfectly match the character of each cheese, adding depth and richness to the tasting experience.

The evening begins with a glass of fizz upon arrival, setting the tone for what promises to be a relaxed yet elegant event. Tickets are £30 per person, which includes the fizz and all five cheese and wine pairings. The event will wrap up around 10 pm, giving you plenty of time to savour each pairing and enjoy the company of fellow guests.

To make the evening even more exciting, we’ll also be holding a raffle with fantastic prizes, and both cash and card payments will be accepted for raffle entries.
