Katy is the creator of the acclaimed Three Dahlias Mysteries, a contemporary celebration of Golden Age detective fiction. Her novels blend classic puzzle‑plotting with modern warmth, wit and glamour - and have delighted readers with their clever clues, sharp characterisation and gloriously escapist settings.

In this special event, Katy will be in conversation with Jude Simpson, Home-Start’s poet‑in‑residence, exploring the inspiration behind her elegant whodunnits, the creation of her three unforgettable actresses‑turned‑sleuths, and the playful crime‑fiction tropes that make the series such a joy.
