Are you expecting a baby and you and your partner want to know more about feeding ? Knowledge is power so understanding about how milk is produced, positioning , attachment, feed cycles and so much more really helps to reduce challenges so your early journey into parenthood can be supported .
I have a background as a trained Midwife and Health Visitor and always had a special interest in breast feeding and believe knowledge is power so you can make an informed choice.
I look forward to welcoming you . Kim XX
Reviews from previous parents ….
“Thank you to Kim and the support she’s offered I’ve been able to breastfeed this time. The information I received when I was pregnant and the ongoing support. The Homestead is like my second home , everything it has to offer has made me the mum i really wanted to be this time around, taking care of myself as well as the little ones. Having the confidence to breastfeed in public was a big thing to me and I’ve done it with the knowledge and understanding that has been given especially helpful to push me through the tough times. Knowledge really is power, thank you so much “ (Danielle , D age 5 , O age 5 months)
“We can’t recommend the breastfeeding and antenatal support highly enough. ❤️
We attended a group when we were expecting our son in February 2025, and we learnt so much. More recently, we went along to one of Kim’s breastfeeding workshops. Even though we’d already been through it ourselves, we still came away having learnt things we didn’t know, which really shows how valuable these sessions are.
The sessions are informative, supportive and reassuring, and they really highlight how important the right information and support can be for new parents.
We’d especially encourage dads to get involved. It’s easy to think that antenatal or breastfeeding support is mainly for Mum, but Dad has such an important role too. Understanding breastfeeding, knowing how to support Mum and having an idea of what she might be experiencing can make such a difference, especially in those early days when everything can feel overwhelming.
Having both parents informed and involved means you can support each other and work as a team, rather than Mum feeling like she has to manage everything on her own.
Thank you for creating such a welcoming and supportive environment, and for sharing your knowledge with us. We’re really grateful for all the support you’ve given us and would definitely recommend these sessions to any expectant parents.
And dads — go to the classes! You’ll learn more than you think, and your partner will be so glad you did. ❤️”
