Collected Beauty Part II: Transformation

This is the second in our series of workshops exploring beauty and aesthetics. In this one we’ll work with beauty, ugliness and transformation. We’ll look at how the stories we tell and the perspectives we take can morph objects, experiences, and ideas from one thing to another.

Join all three Collected Beauty workshops or pick and choose what works for you. They’re fun independently, but all three together make for a deep dive into the subject. Collected Beauty 1, on August 23, is a collective exploration of the subjective nature of beauty. In Collected Beauty 2, on September 10, we’ll work with the relationship between beauty, ugliness and transformation. And for Collected Beauty 3, on September 24, we’ll traverse the subject of desire and consider the ever-evolving role of beauty in art and writing.
