At Hope for the Future, we believe in the power of democratic engagement in calling for action on the climate and nature crisis. We are the UK's expert in training and supporting people to have impactful interactions and conversations with their politicians.

As part of Great Big Green Week 2024, people all over the UK are going to hosting events to put climate and nature at the heart of the debate, raise awareness about these key issues and stand together for the future of our planet and people. Events are a great opportunity to engage with your local politicians and prospective parliamentary candidates (PPCs) by demonstrating a broad and hopefully diverse mandate for politicians to act on your behalf. If you are interested in involving your local politicians and/or your parliamentary candidates in your event, then come along to this session to find out more.

We'll be covering everything from how to make the invite to your politician stand out and sound compelling, to how to plan your event so you're more likely to achieve political impact.
