Our Strategy Needs You: Partner Consultation
Thu 17 Oct 2024 12:00 PM - 1:30 PM BST
Online, Zoom
Description
At the heart of Hope for the Future's mission is the belief that the voices of communities must be central to the decision-making processes that impact their lives, environment, and future.
From its early days, Hope for the Future has been dedicated to bridging the gap between communities and policymakers. The organisation understands the frustration that can arise when campaigners and politicians struggle to connect and work together.
By providing the necessary tools, training, and support, Hope for the Future empowers communities to engage constructively with MPs and Councillors, turning passion into tangible action. Our vision is clear: a fairer, more sustainable world where communities and politicians collaborate effectively to address the climate crisis.
We're preparing our next 3 year strategy, set to launch in early 2025, and we want to hear from YOU! Our partners, and the communities they represent are at the heart of our model, so for that reason, we're bringing together a range of community representatives to genuinely help shape our strategy. This session is focused specifically on organisations and networks with supporter and membership bases. We'd love to hear from organisations who have used our services before as well as organisations who are totally new to Hope for the Future and what we do, to help us broaden our horizons and support diverse communities.
In this 90 minute session, you'll be presented with:
- An overview of our core services and Hope for the Future's story and background
- An overview of our early stage progress towards developing our next strategy
- Opportunities to add your thoughts and reflections through various different means
You'll be reimbursed £20 for your time, which will be paid by bank transfer to either you personally, or your organisation. If you are part of a group/organisation, please only register one of your team so that we can ensure a wide array of voices are heard. Tickets are capped and allocated on a first come first serve basis.
Closed captioning will be enabled, but if you have any accessibility requirements, please contact info@hftf.org.uk.
