Hope into Action's Annual Conference 2025 : Restorers of Hope
Wed 12 Mar 2025 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
KingsGate Church Centre, PE1 4YT
Description
The UK faces a homelessness crisis, made up of many different problems:
Resources: the lack of affordable housing and the basic cost of living.
Relationships: family breakdown, loneliness, isolation.
Identity: low self-esteem, mental health problems and addictions.
We need a hope able to respond to all three of these problems.
Hope into Action works with the church to respond to each of these forms of poverty: the resource of accommodation, relationships through friendship and community and the chance to re-build a positive identity.
Our country needs a hope that is put into action more than ever. We need to be Restorers of Hope.
The Hope into Action Annual Conference is for everyone who believes that the Christian faith can transform lives. It is for church leaders, community activists, investors, volunteers, housing and social care professionals and anyone who is interested in how the Christian faith changes lives.
Over 430 people attended our 2024 conference Empowered.
