Sacred Music for Today's Church Choir
Working with the Maturing Voice

During our time together we will sing through some of the new offerings from Hope Publishing. We will also discuss today’s choir and its challenges and offer solutions for your music ministry. We will discuss the benefits of vocal warm-ups and provide exercises helpful for the maturing voice. Get your season started on a high note!!!

Registration Prices

$25 - Registration for the choral workshop and reading session only.
$20 - Registration for the choral workshop and reading session if you are attending the handbell reading session (separate registration) earlier in the day.

Clinician - Brenda E. Austin

Brenda is a dynamic and energetic conductor, clinician and composer. She is the Artistic Director for the Detroit Handbell Ensemble. In 2019, she joined Hope Publishing as Handbell Editor. Brenda graduated with degrees in Vocal Performance from Western Michigan University and a Master of Music in Choral Conducting from the University of Missouri – Kansas City. She studied with Craig Arnold, Steve Zegree and Eph Ehly.
