Hornbeam Gathering: meet your Councillors

Live near Lea Bridge road in Walthamstow? This is your chance to come meet your new, local councillors, hear more about their plans and share your hopes for the future of Waltham Forest. 

Stop-by for your lunch! We will be providing vegan food during the event, cooked on-site by the wonderful Gleaners.

We will be joined by two councillors representing the Lea Bridge Ward of WF: Councillor Rosie Rowlands and Councillor Liz Biggs. 
UPDATE: Rosie Rowlands unfortunately can no longer make it, but Councillor Chanté Johnson will be joining us instead, representing the Markhouse ward

On the day, they will introduce themselves and tell us about the changes they are hoping to see in the local council. Then, there will be space for an open discussion where you can ask questions and share your perspectives.

- You are welcome to bring children along to the event. There is a child ticket option, just so we can get an idea of who is coming - we will try to provide some simple, fun activities (e.g. craft materials). It will be an informal gathering, so little residents are welcome too!
