Blagdon Hall Open Garden 2024

Lord Ridley is kindly allowing the public access to his private estate grounds, with all proceeds going to HospiceCare North Northumberland.

​Blagdon Estate is a family-run estate which has been in the same family ownership since 1700 and retains an historical atmosphere. Autumn is a lovely time of year to visit the Estate. Wander along the meandering paths and experience a riot of colour in the changing leaves before they fall.

Enjoy the beautiful lakes and follies, including features designed by architect, Sir Edwin Lutyens. There is also a charming quarry garden containing unusual plants from all over the world. The Autumn colours and rustle and scent of leaves underfoot in the woodland paths in the Parkland are evocative of childhood games and play. This is Autumn Parkland at its best.
