Entry £10 Adults and £5 for juniors and we ask please for a minimum of £25 in sponsorship per family/ group.

A special event to offer a new perspective of Wooler, with a spot of star gazing, taking in the unique experience of climbing Humbleton Hill in the darkness. This is a torch-lit, 6km route which is fully marshalled.

Registration from 5.30pm at the Cheviot Centre, Wooler- where you will be able to purchase some bright glow sticks and lights.
Start: 6pm

Sign up as a team, a family or bring your friends, all ages are welcome and dogs on short leads are welcome.

We will have photographers present on the night to capture those taking part and the light show captured as we walk along the summit.

Back again with hot chocolates, finishers medals and more photo opportunities at the finish, come and join us for us for our Light up the Glendale Night Walk 2024.

Please note we have been given kind permission to be on private land for this event and we will be abiding by all Countryside Codes and closing gates behind us as we walk, leaving only our footprints behind us. The plan is to walk anti clockwise around the hill, weather permitting, we have variants of the route as backup. In the event of extreme conditions the event will be rescheduled.
