Are you ready to take on one of the toughest endurance challenges in Northumberland? The 37-mile Northumberland Coastal Challenge Ultra is the longest and most extreme distance in our event, designed for those who want to push beyond the marathon mark and test their limits against the elements.

After registering at Druridge Bay you will be bussed upto the start at the stunning Budle Bay, just north of Bamburgh.

From here you take on a breathtaking journey south along the rugged, beautiful, and unforgiving Northumberland coastline. You’ll pass through historic villages, remote beaches, and rolling dunes before finishing at Druridge Bay Country Park.

Checkpoints & Key Landmarks:

📍 Beadnell (11 miles) – A picturesque seaside village, marking your first major milestone.
📍 Craster (18 miles) – Pass the famous Dunstanburgh Castle, a dramatic landmark on the route.
📍 Alnmouth (25 miles) – Over halfway and deep into the challenge! A stunning riverside checkpoint.
📍 North of Amble (32 miles) – The final checkpoint before your last push to the finish.
🏁 Finish at Druridge Bay Country Park – The moment of triumph after a 37-mile ultra-distance effort!
