Holy Island Hospice Hike 2022

Entry £10 and we ask please for a minimum of £25 in sponsorship 

A glorious 9-mile hike right around the beautiful Holy Island of Lindisfarne

After our inaugural hike last year we are back on Holy Island again this October. People from all around the globe are drawn to Lindisfarne, and you are going to walk right around it’s stunning coastline –raising funds for HospiceCare at the same time!

The walk starts and finishes in the Island Oasis Coffee Shop where refreshments will be available. With the sea never far away, the terrain includes roads, grassy paths, a short rocky climb and sandy beach. Water will be available en route, and first aiders in attendance. You will be “staying over the tide” as the islanders say, as the causeway closes at 11.50am and doesn’t re-open until 16.35.
There is a charge for parking on the Island.

Please note- No unaccompanied under 18s, we also ask please that people be fit enough to undertake the walk, at your own risk, and the route is not suitable for wheelchair users.
