Understanding Grief (offered monthly)
A one-time educational session for people who are newly bereaved or new to the bereavement program at Hospice Mississauga.
Understanding Grief is offered once each month, with several dates available throughout the year. You only register for and attend one session — this is not an ongoing group or a multi-session program.
This “sit back and listen” session explores common experiences of grief and provides a helpful road map for understanding the grieving process. Participants will learn about coping strategies, common myths about how grief “should” look, and the different ways people may experience and express their grief.
There is no expectation to share or participate in discussion. You are welcome to simply listen.
