Anyone seeking creative ways to self-soothe, deepen self-reflection, or bring art into their journey, please join us for the Looking for the Light / Being the Light Lanterns unique art class. There is no special artistic ability required!

In the earth’s northern hemisphere, December’s short hours of daylight bring festivals of light, and celebrations of giving. You are invited to partake in this 2-hour art therapy wellness workshop where we will look for the light in the darkness together. With mixed media and translucent colour, we will each create a lantern rich with symbols that celebrate our personal cultures.

Materials:  All painting materials and supplies will be provided.

Facilitator: Leigh (pronounced ‘Lee’) an Art Therapy Student at Toronto Art Therapy Institute.

Location:   This art workshop will take place in-person at Hospice Mississauga, 1-855 Matheson Blvd. East, Mississauga

Registration:   Limited to 15 participants!

Hospice Mississauga has the right to cancel this session if registration numbers are less than 5 participants. If necessary, notice of cancellation will be provided 24 hours in advance.
