BRAND NEW FOR 2023!
Could your dog be a Hospice Hound?! Join in our BRAND-NEW event by taking part in our 5km or 10km dog walk to help raise funds for your local Hospice and become part of the Hospice Hounds gang!
The event is free entry, all we ask is for you and your pooch to raise as much money as possible to help support Hospice of the Good Shepherd. If you feel you can't raise sponsorship we would ask you to make an optional donation in lieu of sponsorship.
Every dog registered will receive a goodie bag and certificate of completing the walk and becoming a Hospice Hound.
Meet us at Hickory’s on Sunday 26th March, where you will have chance to purchase some delicious food to fuel up, before setting off on the route. On the day you will have the option to take our longer or shorter route, both routes will head out of town through Handbridge and take in a section of Duke’s Drive. The longer route will take you to Eccleston where we will have a half-way pit stop with a few stalls to browse before heading through Eccleston Village and joining the riverside path back round to Hickory’s.
We guarantee you will have a pawsome time!
Unfortunately, due to the route of the walk the event is not suitable for wheelchair users.
Please note, registration is now closed However, you can still sign up on the day for a fee of £20. If you would like to join in please head to Hickory's Chester to register between 9:30 and 10:30am.
**Due to limited seating at Hickory’s we would advise you to book a table at Hickory’s if you wanted to have some lunch once you’ve completed the walk**
