A Very Special Christmas Concert at Hotel Doolin: Mná in The Barn

This December, Hotel Doolin invites you to gather in the warm glow of The Barn for a magical evening of music, song and festive cheer. On Saturday, December 6th, the acclaimed vocal trio Mná will fill the air with harmonies that weave together tradition, folk, and contemporary song — the perfect soundtrack to the season.

Known for their exquisite blend of voices, classical undertones, and heartfelt performances, Mná bring both elegance and joy to the stage. Each member contributes her own unique artistry:

• Theresa Garrihy, a classically trained soprano and folk singer from Ennistymon, has graced Ireland’s major theatres and released her debut album Home in 2022.

• Kate Daly, from Doolin, is celebrated for her choral work and classical training, now adding her own songwriting to her repertoire.

• Kathleen Malone, also based in Doolin, released My Island Home in 2020 in aid of the Burren Chernobyl Project. A passionate singing facilitator, she directs a local children’s choir and delights in nurturing community voices.

Together, these three exceptional singers promise a festive programme brimming with Christmas favourites, timeless classics, and heart-stirring harmonies.

This will be a very special candlelit community night in The Barn — a chance for women of all generations (and the men too!) to come together, celebrate the season, and share in the magic of music and Christmas spirit. With mulled wine in hand and the glow of fairy lights all around, it’s the perfect way to step into the festive season in Doolin.
