The London International Ska Festival 2027

Founded in 1998 the LISF was the first of its kind, and the longest running ska festival in the world.  Now celebrating ska, and it’s beautiful evolution through rocksteady, reggae, dub, 2 Tone & beyond, for 39 years, the 2027 is once again set to host a series of world exclusive performances, films, exhibitions and more!

Not only is it our 39th anniversary but also 2027 marks what would have been the Godfather of Ska’s 100th birthday.  An occasion we intend to celebrate fully.  Laurel, who not only performed at the first ever London Int’l Ska Festival but also went onto guest and record with my first band The Loafers and became a dear friend, who I still miss greatly.

Once again the festival will be housed in iconic London venues with headline artists to be announced shortly.
