Women+ in Magic London MTG Play Day

Women+ in Magic, Jack Saunders and Kyle Simmons teamed up to bring you a day filled with your favourite trading card game: Magic: the Gathering! Come hang out, play Magic and celebrate the launch of the WIM+ Action Program.

The WIM+ Action Program is a program designed to help players, event organisers, game stores, and community leaders turn their support for inclusive Magic spaces into practical action.

Because building a community where everyone feels welcome takes more than good intentions. It takes action!

There will be enough tables to get some games of Commander going. The event is open to all experience levels! Never played before? No problem, we’ll have some Learn2Play tables to get you going.

What to expect?

Artist Alley
Discover creations from alters to originals and meet the talented artists behind them: Bbmtg, Binary Bee, Daddy Yargle, and Unusual Binder.

MTG Vendor
Looking to buy some new cardboard? Browse all the bling at It’s All About MTG.

Panel on Inclusive Magic
Join speakers from the community for a conversation about making Magic a more welcoming space for everyone, sharing experiences, and exploring how we can turn good intentions into meaningful change. The panel is hosted by MTG enthusiast Jack Saunders.

A full day of Magic!
But most of all it’s a day to connect with fellow MTG lovers. Bring your fave decks, get to know new people to play with, and enjoy a full day of MTG at House of Ora.

More about Women+ in Magic

Since 2024, Women+ in Magic (WIM+) has been bringing together all women, trans men, and gender-diverse people who love Magic: The Gathering. We create spaces where people can meet, play, make friends, build confidence, and find community. Whether you're completely new to Magic or have been playing for years, WIM+ is all about helping people feel welcome at the table. Because playing Magic outside your own kitchen table pod should be fun for everyone. We also host mixed events where cis men are welcome to join in. After all, the goal isn't to create separate communities, it's to help build a Magic community where everyone feels like they belong.
