This in-person session with a professional from Hampshire CAMHS will be to discuss if your young person is in crisis with their mental health.

Crisis is unique and depends in each individual person, is your young person in overwhelm, battling the feeling of not being able to cope?

Are they self harming or doing self injury, perhaps having suicidal thoughts or have do you feel their mood is low and you are concerned they are not engaging in day to day life?

We will be looking at

  • Understanding and responding to crisis
  • Looking at risk factors and warning signs
  • Discussing the window of tolerance

Depending who is in the room the professional will look to support what brings you to seek support that day, come and meet other parent carers who may be experiencing similar concerns as you, feel less isolated and hopefully walk away with some ideas and strategies to support your young person.

Parking is available onsite please ensure you have popped your car registration in the terminal opposite the reception desk as you come

Free tea/coffee and water available.
